12 Oct 2020 Evaluate

Copper futures traded lower on Monday due to continued uncertainty around a US stimulus package, while dollar’s strength and surging corona virus cases across the globe too weighed on copper prices.

Copper futures for December delivery lost $0.0070 at $3.0730 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was down 0.1% at $6,758.50 a ton.
