Gold futures ended higher on Thursday, on back of the safe haven appeal of the bullion amid Europe’s struggle with the rise in COVID-19 cases, lockdowns and the ongoing talks over Brexit. Although, strength in dollar capped further gains.
Gold futures for December delivery tacked on $1.60, or 0.08%, to settle at $1,908.90 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold was up 0.1% at $1,903.39 an ounce.
