Gold futures ended higher on Tuesday, as the weaker dollar boosted some bullion buying. Anticipation about a possible round of covid relief package ahead to presidential election boosted bullion's appeal an inflation hedge.
Gold futures for December delivery settled up 0.2% at $1,915.40 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold rose 0.4% to $1,912.71 per ounce.
