Sagar cements reports 10- fold jump in Q2 consolidated net profit

Sagar cements has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2020.

The company has reported 7 – fold jump in its net profit of Rs 44.02 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 6.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 27.16% at Rs 248.13 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 195.13 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 10- fold jump in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 50.27 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 4.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 24.17% at Rs 329.17 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 265.09 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
