Newgen Software Technologies reports over 6- fold jump in Q2 consolidated net profit

Newgen Software Technologies has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2020.

The company has reported 8 -fold jump in its net profit of Rs 27.52 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 3.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased 8.97% at Rs 148.10 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 135.91 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported over 6- fold jump in its net profit attributable to shareholders at Rs 29.21crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 4.22 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company marginally decreased by 0.48% at Rs 158.04 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 158.80 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
