Reliance Industries surges as FIIs hike stake in company to 25.2%

Reliance Industries is currently trading at Rs. 2123.40, up by 16.30 points or 0.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 2107.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2109.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2134.80 and Rs. 2095.65 respectively. So far 214437 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2368.80 on 16-Sep-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 867.45 on 23-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2228.40 and Rs. 2091.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1429968.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.49%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.58% and 10.93% respectively.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised stake in Reliance Industries to a record 25.2% in the quarter ended September 30, 2020. FII holding 165.8 crore shares or 25.2% of the total shareholding. In the previous quarter ended June 30, foreign investors held 163.07 crore shares of 24.72%.
