Piramal Enterprises jumps as its arm approves acquisition of CCPL from Navin Fluorine International

Piramal Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 1251.75, up by 36.50 points or 3.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 1215.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1228.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1265.90 and Rs. 1223.50 respectively. So far 20065 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1,829.02 on 07-Nov-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 608.00 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1329.80 and Rs. 1198.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 28484.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.13% and 14.81% respectively.

Piramal Enterprises’ subsidiary company -- Piramal Pharma (PPL) has approved the acquisition of additional 3,43,04,900 equity shares of the face value of Rs 10 each of Convergence Chemicals (CCPL) for an aggregate cash consideration of Rs 65.10 crore from Navin Fluorine International. Consequent to this Acquisition, CCPL would become a wholly owned subsidiary of PPL. The Acquisition is likely to be completed by January 31, 2021.
