Ramco Cements reports 41% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Ramco Cements has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2020.

The company has reported 40.21% rise in its net profit of Rs 235.77 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 168.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased 4.57% at Rs 1265.31 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 1325.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 41.37% rise in its net profit attributable to equity shareholder at Rs 243.52 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 172.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 4.40% at Rs 1273.47 crore for Q2FY21 as compared Rs 1332.08 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
