Copper futures ended higher on Tuesday even as investors are cautiously eyeing on the outcome of US presidential elections. Further, firm demand outlook with robust factory reports from the world’s biggest economies also supported industrial metal prices’ uptrend.
Copper futures for December delivery gained $0.0155 to settle at $3.0925 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up 0.8% at $6,816 a ton.
