Gold futures finished lower on Wednesday, marking second straight session loss as the risk appetite in the market with the optimism surrounding covid-19 vaccine developments dulled the safe haven bullion investments. Further, stronger dollar also weighed down the yellow metal rates.
Gold futures for December delivery slipped by $11.20 or 0.60% to settled at $1873.90 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold was down 0.21% to $1,867.43 per ounce.
