NMDC has conferred with two coveted awards for its excellence in unique CSR initiatives at Apex India CSR Excellence Awards - 2019. NMDC’s Bacheli Iron Ore Mining Complex (BIOM) bagged Platinum Award in CSR EXCELLENCE category and Gold Award for its Education City in CSR PROJECT OF THE DECADE category at Apex India CSR Excellence Awards - 2019. These awards are conferred to NMDC BIOM Bacheli Complex in recognition of its unique CSR initiatives that have been taken to uplift the tribal community, provide opportunities for local tribal youth and women to gain meaningful employment and for livelihood generation in Bastar region of Chhattisgarh.
