Hitachi ABB Power Grids surges on signing MoU with Ashok Leyland, IITM

ABB Power Products & Systems India is currently trading at Rs. 1076.00, up by 23.70 points or 2.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 1052.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1084.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1119.00 and Rs. 1060.00 respectively. So far 4640 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1100.00 on 21-Aug-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 714.00 on 30-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1119.00 and Rs. 944.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4548.40 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.42% and 19.58% respectively.

Hitachi ABB Power Grids India (listed on Indian stock exchanges as ABB Power Products and Systems India) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ashok Leyland and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) for an e-mobility pilot. The triumvirate will run an electric bus (e-bus) pilot to support sustainable in-campus commuting by IITM’s students and staff. The e-bus, which will incorporate Hitachi ABB Power Grids’ innovative flash-charging technology - Grid-eMotionTM Flash, will be provided by India’s largest bus manufacturer, Ashok Leyland. IITM will host the infrastructure required to operate the flash-charging system for the e-bus.
