Copper futures ended higher on Monday after the release of China's November official manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), which hit a three-year high at 52.1. Further, weakness in US dollar also added support to industrial metal prices.
Copper futures for March delivery gained $0.0205 to settle at $3.4380 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up 1.07% at $7,580 a ton.
