Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Tuesday on account of buyer resistance in the market following hopes of rising arrivals in the coming days amid the peak production season. Further, weakness in the global market due to continued surge in Covid-19 cases across the globe too weighed on physical rubber prices.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 161/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 162/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 152/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 153/ kg.
