TCS, PNC Infratech and IOC to see some action today

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has expanded its business operations in Austin, Texas with the construction of a new facility, doubling its presence to more than 400 professionals in the city and adding to its 5,500 plus employees across the state. Located at 13929 Center Lake Drive, the new facility will officially open in late December 2020 and have space for 367 employees. The new TCS Austin office adds to existing offices in Dallas, Houston, and Plano and more than 30 TCS locations around the U.S.

PNC Infratech in Joint Venture with SPML Infra has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for an EPC Project namely ‘Survey, Design, Preparation of DPR, Construction, Commissioning and O&M for 10 years of Rural Water Supply Project in 952 villages in Devipatan Division of Uttar Pradesh’ from the State Water Supply & Sanitation Mission, Namami Gange & Rural Water Supply Department on December 10, 2020.

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has boosted refinery run to 100 per cent of the capacity as reopening of the economy spurred demand for fuel. All the refineries of IOC operated at 100 per cent of the capacity in November, up from 88.1 per cent in the previous October month and 98.6 per cent in the same period last year. This festival season boosted demand for consumer goods, leading to more diesel-run trucks hitting the road to deliver everything - from clothes to air conditioners.

Gayatri Projects (GPL) has received three Letter of Awards (LoAs) for Pipe Drinking Water Schemes from Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department in the State of Uttar Pradesh, in joint venture where the company's share is 97.5%, for a total value of Rs 1,332.00 crore. All the said LOAs pertains to water division.

Trident has reported 12,274 metric tons production of Paper in November, 2020. The company’s bath linen and yarn production stood at 4,604 metric tons and 9,189 metric tons, respectively, while bed linen production stood at 3.32 million metres during November. The company’s Chemicals production stood at 8,168 metric tons.
