Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Thursday due to sluggish domestic demand in line with overall weakness in the global market following continued surge in corona virus cases worldwide. Further, hopes of rise in arrivals in the coming days amid the peak production season too added pressure on rubber prices.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 159/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 160/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 150/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 151/ kg.
