Physical Rubber prices witness some improvement on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices showed some improvement on Thursday due to firm demand from tyre makers. Rubber prices gained further on rising global demand even as caution still lingering over surging corona virus cases across the globe. Though, hopes of rise in arrivals in the coming weeks amid the peak production season kept the commodity prices under pressure.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 157/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 147.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 147/ kg.
