HDFC surges on signing pact with Indian Green Building Council

Housing Development Finance Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 2433.05, up by 32.35 points or 1.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 2400.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2413.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2444.70 and Rs. 2413.00 respectively. So far 18709 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2509.00 on 17-Dec-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1473.10 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2489.00 and Rs. 2361.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 439418.82 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 88.67% and 11.33%, stake in the company respectively.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) has signed a pact with the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) with this company’s green housing retail loan book has crossed the Rs 14,000-crore-mark across 310 certified green buildings. The company tie-up with the IGBC to promote green housing and create awareness about and promote financing of green buildings.

HDFC offers a whole gamut of products like loans to individuals, loans to corporates, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. The financial conglomerate has subsidiaries and associates in insurance (general and life), asset management, education finance, venture funds and banking services.
