Lupin, Bharat Forge and Confidence Petroleum India to see some action today

Lupin has received tentative approval for its Efinaconazole Topical Solution, 10%, from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA), to market a generic equivalent of Jublia Topical Solution, 10%, of Bausch Health Americas, Inc. Efinaconazole Topical Solution, 10%, is indicated for the topical treatment of onychomycosis of the toenail(s) due to Trichophyton rubrum and Trichophyton mentagrophytes.

Bharat Forge has made an additional investment of Rs 2.87 crore to use the remaining 8.20 megawatts (MW) solar power from Avaada SataraMH (ASPL). The company has agreed to use a total of 40.70 MW solar power from ASPL. As part of this, it earlier invested about Rs 11.37 crore in ASPL to use 32.50 megawatts.

Confidence Petroleum India has completed the first CNG station at Gariya colony, Kolkata for Bengal Gas Corporation (BGCL). BGCL is a joint venture of GAIL (India) (GAIL) & Greater Calcutta Gas Supply Corporation (GCGSCL). The project is part of the seven stations project awarded to Confidence Petroleum India Limited for Erection, Procurement and Comissioning (EPC) of 7 CNG stations in Kolkata city.

Advanced Enzymes Technologies’ board has approved the investment of an amount not exceeding Rs 316.26 million by way of subscription to the issue of 492,630 equity shares of SciTech Specialties (SSPL), as may be offered on preferential issue / private placement basis by SSPL and purchase of 27,778 from selling shareholders of SSPL, aggregating to 520,408 equity shares i.e. 51% of equity share capital of SSPL and authorization for signing of Share Subscription and Shareholders' Agreement in this regard. On completion of the aforesaid investment, SSPL will become subsidiary of the company.

Mahindra Logistics, which is on an ambitious growth path with a target of achieving Rs 10,000-crore revenue by FY26 through inorganic and organic routes, is planning to deploy electric vehicles (EVs) for last-mile delivery shortly. The plan comes on the heels of online retailer Amazon India's move to deploy EVs for last-mile delivery. The company is reportedly in touch with Mahindra Electric and Kinetic Green for vehicle supplies.

Optiemus Infracom is setting up a new factory for mobile manufacturing in Noida, which is expected to be operational by early February. The company has plans to raise Rs 285 crore from sale of one of its buildings in Noida to Kailash Darshan Housing Development (Gujarat), which the company plans to utilize towards mobile manufacturing business, repay the existing loans and reduce interest burden and for general business purpose.

Coal India’s (CIL) board has accorded its 'In-Principle' approval to venture into Aluminium Value chain (Mining-Refining-Smelting) and Solar Power Value Chain (Ingot-Wafer-Cell-Module and Generation). The board also approved creating SPVs, subject to obtaining concurrence from Niti Aayog, DIPAM and after completion of feasibility studies and business analysis. The feasibility analysis has to be conducted for the solar power value chain business vertical at CIL, new and renewable energy (non-conventional) business vertical and integrated aluminium complex -- a greenfield project by CIL subsidiary Central Coalfields.
