Ramco Cements’ Alathiyur unit has been awarded ‘Commendation for Significant Achievement in CSR’ by the Confederation of Indian Industry in the CII-ITC Sustainability Awards 2020. Seventeen companies had participated for this category of award in Corporate Social Responsibility, of which nine were shortlisted for the honour of Excellence and Commendation.

Ramco Cements is the flagship company of the Ramco Group, a well-known business group of South India. The main product of the company is Portland cement, manufactured in eight state-of-the art production facilities that includes Integrated Cement plants and Grinding units.
