Copper futures ended higher on Monday on expectations of higher demand after the US President Donald Trump signed a $2.3 trillion pandemic aid and spending package to support the US economy. Further, a weaker US dollar also makes dollar-priced metals cheaper and more appealing to holders of other currencies.
Copper futures for March delivery gained $0.0085 to settle at $3.5710 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
