Tata Consultancy Services has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.
On standalone basis, the company has posted a rise of 16.81% in its net profit at Rs 3722.76 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 3187.11 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 23.73% to Rs 13074.25 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 10566.81 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
On consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 49.25% in its net profit at Rs 3434.37 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 2301.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 35.66% at Rs 15949.08 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 11756.18 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
