Adani Green Energy soars as its arm commissions 100 MWac solar power plant in Gujarat

Adani Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 1078.55, up by 27.20 points or 2.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 1051.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1068.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1090.70 and Rs. 1068.50 respectively. So far 11178 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1220.00 on 24-Nov-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 112.70 on 17-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1090.70 and Rs. 1025.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 164432.64 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.70% and 2.39% respectively.

Adani Green Energy’s (AGEL) wholly owned subsidiary--Adani Solar Energy Kutchh Two has commissioned 100 MWac Solar Power Project at Khirsara, Gujarat, ahead of its scheduled Commercial Operation Date (COD) according to its 25-year-long Power Purchase Agreement (PPA ) with the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam India (GUVNL). The PPA is priced at Rs 2.44/kWh, as on December 29, 2020.

With this commissioning AGEL’s total operational renewable capacity grows to 2,950 MWac demonstrating a CAGR of 55% since March 2016. The plant will be connected to the company’s state-of-the-art Energy Network Operation Centre (ENOC) that continuously monitors and analyses performance of 80 plus solar and wind plants across diverse locations in India. AGEL has total renewable capacity of 14,195 MWac including 11,245 MWac awarded and under implementation projects; and targets commissioning of renewable capacity of 25 GW by 2025.
