Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 9,83,042.05 crore on January 1 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,11,44,204.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 14,423.18 crore, Stock Futures Rs 36,719.34 crore and Index Options Rs 8,69,996.76 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 61,902.77 crore.
