Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Friday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Friday as expectations of increase in arrivals kept the rubber prices under pressure. Further, concerns over surging corona virus infections driven by a new variant of the virus too weighed on rubber prices.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to 153/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 154.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to 142/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 143/ kg.
