Arup Kumar Goswami sworn in as Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh HC

Arup Kumar Goswami was on today sworn in as the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court (HC). Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan administered the oath of office to Justice Goswami at a brief function in Vijayawada. Justice Goswami was transferred from the Sikkim High Court a few days ago. He replaced J.K. Maheswari who has been posted as the Chief Justice of Sikkim High Court.

Chief Minister (CM) Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das, Principal Secretary (Political) Praveen Prakash and other officials were present on the occasion. Ministers, Judges of the High Court and a few legislators were also attended the function.
