Star Cement trades higher on commencing commercial production at New Grinding Unit in West Bengal

Star Cement is currently trading at Rs. 104.80, up by 2.30 points or 2.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 102.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 103.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 106.05 and Rs. 103.00 respectively. So far 17367 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 108.05 on 06-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.00 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 108.00 and Rs. 101.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4227.40 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.47% and 24.36% respectively.

Star Cement has successfully commenced commercial production at its New Grinding Unit situated at Siliguri, West Bengal on January16, 2021. It is a modern state of Art Grinding unit with annual capacity of 2.00 MTPA.
