Sterlite Technologies zooms on partnering with CSC

Sterlite Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 194.05, up by 9.15 points or 4.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 184.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 185.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 197.00 and Rs. 185.00 respectively. So far 54663 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 199.50 on 06-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 59.80 on 13-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 197.00 and Rs. 180.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7704.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.59%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.84% and 33.57% respectively.

The Common Services Centre (CSC), a special purpose vehicle under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, has partnered with Sterlite Technologies (STL) to train one lakh village-level entrepreneurs for maintenance of the BharatNet telecom infrastructure across the country.

This will strengthen availability of reliable internet to the citizens, enabling their participation in digital governance and economy. The training on wi-fi access points, optical fibre splicing and maintenance will be delivered online through the CSC Academy, the education and CSR wing of CSC.
