Physical Rubber prices remain unchanged on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices remained unchanged on Tuesday due to concerns over rising cases of Covid-19 globally. While, pick-up in demand from tyre makers coupled with Covid-19 vaccines rollouts have supported rubber prices. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 153/ kg and Rs 144/ kg respectively.

In the futures market, February delivery gained to Rs 156.20 compared to its previous closing of Rs 156.12 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
