LT Foods gains on acquiring 30% stake in Leev Netherlands

LT Foods is currently trading at Rs. 57.10, up by 1.40 points or 2.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 55.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 56.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 57.55 and Rs. 56.35 respectively. So far 51917 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 63.50 on 11-Aug-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 13.00 on 13-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 57.95 and Rs. 55.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1823.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.81%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.08% and 38.11% respectively.

LT Foods through its fellow subsidiary -- Nature Bio Foods BV (NBF B.V.), has acquired 30% stake in Leev, Netherlands, with an option to acquire a further 21% stake at the end of 5 years. Nature Bio Foods has established itself as a responsible and dependable organic product and ingredient supplier across the globe. The acquisition of a stake in Leev.nu is in line with long term growth strategy of NBF.

LT Foods is a branded specialty foods company. It is engaged in milling, processing and marketing of branded and non-branded basmati rice, and manufacturing of rice food products in the domestic and overseas market.
