Dewan Housing Finance Corporation has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.
The company has reported a rise of 19.42% in its net profit at Rs 85.85 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 71.89 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 38.86% at Rs 817.87 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 588.98 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
DHFL is among the oldest private sector Housing Finance Companies (HFC) in India. It is the third-largest HFC with a loan portfolio of Rs 19,355 crore as on March 31, 2012.
