Physical Rubber prices witness some weakness on Monday

Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Monday, pressured by lack of bulk buyers in the market following surging Covid-19 cases globally. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to 151.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 152/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 144/ kg.

In the futures market, February delivery lost to Rs 151 compared to its previous closing of Rs 152.29 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
