NMDC has informed that Syedain Abbasi, joint secretary, Ministry of Steel, Government of India has been appointed as government director on the board of NMDC Ltd. with effect from October 18, 2012 in place of J. P. Shukla vide Order dated October 18, 2012.

Accordingly, J. P. Shukla, joint secretary, MoS ceased to be director on the board of the company with effect from October 18, 2012.
