Copper futures traded lower on Monday due to the demand worries over the slowing factory activity from world’s top metal consumer China. China’s manufactory activity dipped in the last month due to surging domestic coronavirus cases and poor export orders.
Copper futures for February delivery lost $ 0.0085 at $3.5650 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was down 0.22% at $7,856.00 a ton.
