Physical Rubber prices witness improvement on Saturday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed improvement on Saturday after increasing enquiries from the general rubber goods sector. Though, concerns over sharp increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in Kerala limited some gains.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 153/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 152.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 149/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 148/ kg. In the futures market, March delivery lost to Rs 156.80 compared to its previous closing of Rs 157 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
