Century Plyboards (India) has received approval from board to acquire 19,95,000 shares of Rs 10 each constituting 39.94%of share capital of its subsidiary company ‘Century Infotech’ from other shareholders. Upon completion of this acquisition, ‘Century Infotech’ would become wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Further, acquisition of these shares would be made at a price not exceeding the value determined by an Independent Valuer.
Century Plyboards (India) is largest seller of plywood and decorative veneers in the Indian organized plywood market. The manufacturing facility of company is located at Bishnupur near Joka, Kolkata.
