Ambuja Cements has reported results for fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020.
The company has reported 9.28% rise in its net profit of Rs 497.10 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 454.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.03% at Rs 3554.55 crore for quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared Rs 3201.49 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 23.79% rise in its net profit attributable to owners of the company of Rs 732.24 crore for the fourth quarter as compared to net profit of Rs 591.54 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 4.58% at Rs 7552.73 crore for quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared Rs 7221.65 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended December 31, 2020, the company has reported 17.11% rise in its net profit of Rs 1790.10 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 1528.54 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 2.90% at Rs 11743.86 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 12094.40 crore for year ended December 31, 2019.
For the year ended December 31, 2020, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a 12.91% rise in its net profit attributable to owners of the company of Rs 2365.44 crore as compared to Rs 2095.00 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 9.82% at Rs 24965.76 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 27684.29 crore year ended December 31, 2019.
