Physical Rubber prices witness improvement on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed improvement on Thursday, tracking sharp gains in global trendsetters. Further, decline in arrivals and rising oil prices also kept the market sentiments positive.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 161/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 160/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 156/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 155/ kg. In the futures market, March delivery lost to Rs 163.20 compared to its previous closing of Rs 165.10 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
