Gold futures finished higher on Tuesday, rebounding from eight month low level after the green back eased making the bullion cheaper for other currency holders. Moreover, weaker bond yields also lifted the yellow metal for the first time after five straight sessional losses.
Gold futures for April delivery rose by 0.6% to settle at $1,733.60 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold up 0.8% at $1,736.46 per ounce.
