Copper futures finished higher on Tuesday. However, weakening demand in world’s top consumer China along with China’s easing factory activity growth in February have capped copper’s gains.
Copper futures for May delivery gained $0.1090 to settle at $4.2220 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up 1.4% at $9,170.50 a ton.
