Physical Rubber prices witness improvement on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed improvement on Thursday, even as buyer resistance in the market with extremely dull volumes pressurizing rubber prices to some extent.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 160/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 159.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 155/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 154.50/kg. In the futures market, March delivery lost to Rs 160.80 compared to its previous closing of Rs 160.83 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
