Copper futures ended higher on Monday after the US Senate passed President Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion stimulus package and the House of Representatives majority leader said that they will vote on the revised Senate bill on Tuesday, which is expected to boost the recovery in the world's biggest economy. But firm US dollar following elevated US Treasury yields made dollar-priced metals more expensive to holders of other currencies.

Copper futures for May delivery gained $0.0175 to settle at $4.0930 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up 1.16% at $8,998.50 a ton.
