Asian markets trade mixed in early deals on Tuesday

Asian equity benchmarks are trading mixed on Tuesday, with the lacklusture cues from Wall street overnight amid concerns that new covid- relief would heighten inflation, while soaring bond yields could hurt high-growth companies reliant on easy borrowing. Japan's Nikkei is advancing after previous sessional loss on bargain hunting, while its exports were mixed with the stonger yen. Among the Asian markets, Japan, Hong Kong,Singapore, and Malaysia are in positive trend. Bucking the trend, Taiwan, Indonesia, South Korea and China are trading lower.

Nikkei 225 up by 226.64 points, 0.79% to 28,969.89, Straits Times rose 39.31 points or 1.28% to ,110.47 Hang Seng lifted by 384.09 points or 1.35% to 28,924.92, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI widened by 9.79 points or 0.61% to 1,621.60.

On the flip side, Taiwan Weighted diminished 29.16 points or 0.18% to 15,790.95, Jakarta Composite lower by 8.30 points or 0.13% to 6,240.17, KOSPI Index down by 21.25 points or 0.71% to 2,974.86 and Shanghai Composite lower by 6.18 points or 0.18% to 3,415.23.
