HIL rises on commercializing Birla Aerocon Flat Board production at Faridabad plant

HIL is currently trading at Rs. 3053.10, up by 12.10 points or 0.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 3041.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3045.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3085.00 and Rs. 3031.25 respectively. So far 872 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3219.00 on 05-Mar-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 497.15 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3219.00 and Rs. 3000.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2292.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.83%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.02% and 47.15% respectively.

HIL has commercialized Birla Aerocon Flat Board production, at its plant at Faridabad, Haryana. This augments company's established presence in the building solutions segment.

An expanded product range together with well-targeted distribution set-up and a solutions centric approach positions the company attractively as the customers step up their engagement with the business.

HIL is a leading player in asbestos cement sheet (ACS) for roofing, from which it derives 70 per cent of its revenue at present.
