Copper futures ended lower on Tuesday due to uncertainty ahead of major central bank meetings this week. Moreover, a firmer US dollar also made dollar-priced commodities more expensive for buyers using other currencies.
Copper futures for May delivery lost $0.0690 to settle at $4.0715 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was down 2.01% at $8,960.50 a ton.
