Hitachi ABB Power Grids surges on wining Rs 124 crore order from BALCO

ABB Power Products & Systems India is currently trading at Rs. 1317.45, up by 25.30 points or 1.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 1292.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1314.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1320.00 and Rs. 1293.55 respectively. So far 384 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1656.00 on 26-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 714.00 on 30-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1390.00 and Rs. 1275.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5505.17 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.47% and 18.53% respectively.

Hitachi ABB Power Grids in India (listed on the stock exchanges as ABB Power Products and Systems India) has been awarded a project worth over Rs 124 crore by one of India’s top aluminum producers, Bharat Aluminum Company (BALCO), to ensure improved reliability of the power distribution system at its Korba plant in Chhattisgarh.

The technology pioneer is delivering fully engineered 400-kilovolt gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) substations that will replace an existing apparatus to better assimilate power from BALCO’s captive generation plants, delivering it with efficiency to the Korba aluminum smelter.
