Gold futures finished lower on Thursday, as the investment appeal of the bullion got dulled with the firmer dollar and as bond yields held higher. Albeit, new round of coronavirus restrictions in the euro zone capped some losses in the bullion.
Gold futures for April slipped by 0.5% to settle at $1,725.10 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold fell 0.4% to $1,727.01 per ounce.
