Hester shines on acquiring technology for production, commercialization of classical swine fever vaccine, sheep pox vaccine

Hester Biosciences is currently trading at Rs. 2160.00, up by 146.95 points or 7.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 2013.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2027.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2245.65 and Rs. 2027.05 respectively. So far 4679 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2277.80 on 23-Mar-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 980.00 on 16-Apr-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2245.65 and Rs. 1890.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1844.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.73%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.85% and 45.42% respectively.

Hester Biosciences has signed two agreements with ICAR-IVRI (Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Indian Veterinary Research Institute), for acquiring technologies for the production and commercialisation of the vaccines -- ‘Classical Swine Fever Vaccine’ and ‘Sheep Pox Vaccine’.

These vaccines are the first that have been developed within the country by using locally isolated strains, a step towards making India self-sufficient, Atmanirbhar, for the country’s requirement of Classical Swine Fever Vaccine and Sheep Pox Vaccine.

Hester Biosciences is engaged in the manufacturing of poultry vaccines.
