BPCL zooms on dispatching first consignment of acrylic acid

Bharat Petroleum Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 421.00, up by 16.30 points or 4.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 404.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 406.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 422.90 and Rs. 404.70 respectively. So far 183815 shares were traded on the counter.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has dispatched the first consignment of acrylic acid from its Propylene Derivative Petrochemical (PDP) complex at Kochi Refinery. Acrylic Acid is one of the six niche petrochemical products which will be produced at the PDP complex at Kochi Refinery.

BPCL is into exploration, production and retailing of petroleum and petrol related products. The retail business unit of BPCL is into marketing of petrol, diesel and kerosene.
