Sarda Energy & Minerals’ subsidiary company -- Madhya Bharat Power Corporation has received all requisite approvals for capacity enhancement of the Hydro Power Plant from 96 MW to 113 MW. Further, first unit of 56.5 MW has been synchronized with the grid in the evening hours on April 18, 2021. Second unit is expected to be synchronized with the grid this week. The same will be intimated on synchronization.The plant will commence full load commercial operation after a short shutdown to attend the deficiencies observed during the trial run.
